Abortion Story #345: A minister grateful for her abortion

Roar will publish a first-person story about abortion, “My Abortion: A Daily Story,” every day for at least 365 days. The following excerpt is from Rev. Donna Schaper’s story. She briefly voices, as a minister, that she is thankful for having had the ability to make her own decision about abortion. Rev. Schaper is senior minister at Judson Memorial Church in New York City. Read her reflection that was published as a letter to the editor in 2013 by the New York Times.
