Abortion Story #248: Endometriosis

Her abortion took place at a time in her life when she wanted to build a family, but while she also faced challenges managing endometriosis. “In my mid-thirties, having put career first, I was ready to think about starting a family. Alas, a diagnosis of Endometriosis side-tracked my plan and after a few ‘endoscopic exams’ I was put on a nasty medicine by the name of Danazol. I was to take this for one year and during that time, I would not ovulate, and this was meant to clear up the endometriosis. I was told “not to get pregnant” on this drug, but not to worry…”
